Meet Sprite: A Whimsical Little Tangle with Big Energy

The Sprite first tumbled out of my pen more than a year ago, full of bounce, and impossible to categorize. I tucked them into a notebook for safekeeping… and today, they wiggled their way back into the light.
Sprites are small (or big), curious, and a bit mischievous. They zip into the margins of tiles, dance between lines, and add a touch of whimsy wherever they go. I suspect they might be distant cousins of Bijou—our wise little snail-friend who reminds us to slow down and savor each stroke. But Sprites? Sprites are quick. They wiggle. They zip and zag and sometimes do loop-de-loops right in the middle of a pattern. Where Bijou whispers “Breathe", Sprites giggle “Play!”
Sprites are simple to draw, but don’t be surprised if they change a little each time. That’s just part of their magic. They remind us that Zentangle can be silly and sweet, that not every line has to be serious, and that delight is a tangle-worthy intention. 🌟🎨🧚♀️💫🐌🌈✍️🎠🌿
